Bear with me, I have to vent this, it's just something that's got me stumped.
So okay, tonight I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, let's call her "Josie", who mentioned that her last boyfriend tended to be...uh...silent...during their, um, gettin' busy time. Ya dig?
Anyway "Josie" said that the silence made her really uncomfortable and that it was a major factor in breaking up with him. We're talking no moanin', no groanin', no hollerin', no nothin'. He "just looked at [her] with gritted teeth and a ridiculously intense look that almost spooked [her]." According to her, "I couldn't make a sound without feeling like he was going to shush me."
How in the world can he manage to stay so quiet? I mean, I get that he might need to, uh, focus on the situation at hand, but...geez...
These are the nawwwwty things that give me pause in the wee hours. Hm.
By the way, I have permission from my friend to repeat this conversation. She's as stumped as I am.
