What is a Fuzzball?

  • One question I hear more than any other is What's a Fuzzball??" Allow me to explain:

A Fuzzball is a 30-year-old fallen debutante who lives in Houston, TX with a bossy dog and an even bossier parrot who she SWEARS is the reincarnation of Napoleon Bonaparte.

A Fuzzball prefers animals to most people, because people can really suck sometimes.

A Fuzzball loves music, ALL music ALL of the time. If she's not listening to it, then she's singing it.

A Fuzzball has a mad love for all things British, especially their actors.

A Fuzzball is blissfully happy in a bookstore, preferably one with good music playing in the background. If you look under a Fuzzball's bed you'll usually find an entire library of books that she has dropped there after falling asleep reading.

Fuzzballs are usually incurable romantics, ridiculously optimistic, and bent on making the world a happier place.

Your typical Fuzzball will probably have a completely bizarre sense of humor. Just go with it, it will take you to funny places.

You should also be aware that Fuzzballs are giant nerds. Seriously. Science fiction, computers, the whole shebang.

Fuzzballs are also budding photographers. They love looking at the world through a lens and finding new ways to be creative.

Oh...and you can also look for a Fuzzball in one of the best movies ever made. ;)

Suzie

Do you want us to just leave our letter score here in the comments?

Torrie

I am ESTJ.

Jess

I usually vary a bit on these things, but today I'm an ISFP...which I believe is missing from the list of combinations.

Suzie

Got my answer here....I am ISFJ (Protector)

Fuzzball

OOOOOPS Jess, sorry about that. That was a typo. ISFP is an Artisan - Composer. I'll get that fixed tomorrow.

Torrie

I think it would be an interesting discussion if we talked about what our results were, whether we agree with them, and what (if any) other personality we would rather be.

Jess

As per Torrie's suggestion, I can't say I feel like ISFP (Artisan-Composer) is a good fit for me. The description suggests a Composer should excel at the fine arts, and that's definitely not me. I was flattered to be grouped with Bob Dylan, though. ;)

If I had to pick a better fit, I'd go with the Teacher (obviously, since I am one).

love these things. took a class in law school on advocacy in which we took this test the first day. Then we used the personality types as a frame work all semester to think about effective communications, i.e. in client management, negotiation strategies.... the most interesting, however, was using them in opening statements, and in a jury trial. Since a jury would contain a random spattering of types.

it's amazing how dead on these can be. after a semester you started to be able to predict the other students responses in mock exercises based on personality types. Some people respond to different types of words... (rational vs. feeler words, etc)
Of course personaliy types change.... often.
today I'm a ESTJ (Supervisor)... however, I've been a Mastermind before.

Tera

Im a ESFJ - provider

Julie

I've got issues! :D
I am both a ENFP-Idealist-Champion and a ENTP-Rational-Inventor
Now what!?!

Jolene

Well go figure - I'm a Guardian Supervisor (ESTJ); so how does that figure in all that has been going on???? Things that make you go hmmmm (or not)

Datadog

I've got the Counselor (INFJ.) I'm not sure if this really applies to me since no one ever takes my advice.

southernfriedgirl

I am doing something wrong and can't get this to work. When I figure out why I am a tard, I'll let you know.

Wabbit

I'm an ENFJ... a perfect match, far as I can tell. From all I've just read all over the web, it sounds like I'm a rare bird. One site said only 1% of the population shares my "rare combination of seemingly contradictory traits." Hmmm...I am a puzzle to be pondered with care apparently.

wabbit

oops, I meant to say Infj not Enfj. Sorry about that...

I've taken this one before. I'm a Counselor or Healer every time. This time I'm a healer. Thanks for posting it. I discovered your site a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it.
