Who needs your "web deals", I'm getting the hooook uuuup from Time Warner, and I don't have to buy a stupid box!
Lindsay and Rebekah got the Time Warner DVR last week. Linds IM'd me a few minutes ago to tell me that last night she "watched 15 hours of shows in 120 minutes" and she felt "so efficient". I couldn't stop laughing after reading that. It's like a job! Gotta get home, gotta make it through those eight Seinfeld episodes, gotta watch Golden Girls, gotta see that PBS documentary...(I just threw that last one in to give me the appearance of depth.)
Anyway I'm excited about my DVR. NO MORE FUCKING COMMERCIALS! Those of you who have watched TV with me know how I feel about commercials....grrrrrrrr....
Except for Snapple commercials. Those make me sublimely happy.
Again: See the line? See me waving? Helloooooooo!
i would also like to comment on the fact that i can fast forward through reality tv that i don't really watch, like the amazing race or fear factor or those dumbass shows--but let's say i hear that there's gonna be a really funny part where someone eats it while running over hot coals or something, well then i can just DVR it and fly straight to the good stuff, where i can then play the fall over and over again while i laugh and laugh.
