What is a Fuzzball?

  • One question I hear more than any other is What's a Fuzzball??" Allow me to explain:

A Fuzzball is a 30-year-old fallen debutante who lives in Houston, TX with a bossy dog and an even bossier parrot who she SWEARS is the reincarnation of Napoleon Bonaparte.

A Fuzzball prefers animals to most people, because people can really suck sometimes.

A Fuzzball loves music, ALL music ALL of the time. If she's not listening to it, then she's singing it.

A Fuzzball has a mad love for all things British, especially their actors.

A Fuzzball is blissfully happy in a bookstore, preferably one with good music playing in the background. If you look under a Fuzzball's bed you'll usually find an entire library of books that she has dropped there after falling asleep reading.

Fuzzballs are usually incurable romantics, ridiculously optimistic, and bent on making the world a happier place.

Your typical Fuzzball will probably have a completely bizarre sense of humor. Just go with it, it will take you to funny places.

You should also be aware that Fuzzballs are giant nerds. Seriously. Science fiction, computers, the whole shebang.

Fuzzballs are also budding photographers. They love looking at the world through a lens and finding new ways to be creative.

Oh...and you can also look for a Fuzzball in one of the best movies ever made. ;)

So sweet....:::wiping tears from eyes::::

I know what you mean, I think animals can sense your feelings. I have one cat who will bat at my tears as they run down my face, then lick his paw, then do it again. He has full on claws but he's *always* so gentle when he's doing to to my cheeks.

I'm sorry you're going through all these fears Tracy. I do hope you find some peace somehow and somewhere.

Take care and hang in there! Lots of people do care about you.

Fuzzball

Thanks, sweetie. I think they're just natural fears, honestly. Being a grown-up really sucks sometimes, and every once in awhile it backs up on me. ;)

Sing with me (and Bob Marley):

Everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright
Everything's gonna be alright.....

Awwww. I'd scratch behind your ear if I could. Having doubts sucks. Just know we all do. Right? You are not alone.

Aren't dogs great? They are always there. Unfortunately, even when they are gassy. =)

I can't believe I am a Blog Crush. Woo hoo! Gigitty gigitty!

SuzanH

Oh, honey. I'm so sorry you feel that way, but I'm so glad Emma was there for you.

Gymshoes

Well, this sucks---you and I are down at the same time. :-( Blah! Thank goodness for dogs! :-) Merrly and Mina send you lots of sticky licks. Which is their way of saying "it's OK" --or maybe "feed me what you're eating". ;-)

Torrie

I think our 30's are going to be great.
I really do.

Last week after talking to Will's sister about his trip (this isn't mentioned much on my blog but as soon as everybody in my 3-d life will back off and give me space to write about it, there will be a HUGE ASS entry about it) before I could stop myself, I just burst into tears from the pressure of not being okay but having to appear to be okay and I'll be damned if I didn't have both cats and the dog on the bed with me in less than a second, and they were all gentle and lovey, even the dog who is sort of a spaz normally. I love animals. I'm sorry you're feeling overwhelmed right now, but just know you're not alone :)
