How did I spend my weekend? Let's see:
Saturday was spent with the windows FLUNG open to enjoy the very rare Houston fall weather. I had to clean my apartment so that my neighbor Eric wouldn't have to step over Hoffa's body to get to my computer. (He generously offered to fix it, by the way. Eric, not Hoffa. Hoffa's dead, you goob. He can't fix anything.) Then Linds and I dined at Yum Yum Cha Cafe in Rice Village where our waiter was a Asian version of our cousin B. Spooky. After dinner we enjoyed the lovely weather outside with a big group of my neighbors. Lindsay got to meet Trevor the hot musician. Rowr.
The next day Mom, Lindsay and I ventured downtown to the Bayou City Art Festival. I never miss this good time. I always get spooked by the featured artist's chosen piece. It's some creepy work that gives me the heeby jeebies later on. Check out this year's picture. *shudder*
I'm kicking myself for not taking the camera. The entire time we were there I was taking mental pictures in my head. I guess that's a good thing... Maybe it means I'm getting more serious about this photography thing. We'll see.
After the festivities Lindsay and I went back to my house to watch the new Family Guy movie. Love. That. Movie. Then Eric came over to fix the very ill Fuzzball computer. He ended up just wiping it completely clean and re-installing everything. I now owe him my undying love and affection. He settled for pizza. I think I made out like a bandit in that deal, don't you? So the offical Fuzzball Pooter (as Lindsay calls it) is now up and running again. THANK GOD.
