My sister Lindsay's cat Luna is lost. She ran out of the house this afternoon and now is nowhere to be found. We've scoured the neighborhood, posted flyers, knocked on doors, posted ads, put stinky food out...now we're waiting. It's dark now, so she's probably terrified and hungry. Luna has never been outside before and I'm so worried about her that my stomach is in knots. My heart hurts for that sweet little kitty. I'll tell you, this crisis has brought out the best and worst in my family members. One in particular is about ready to get a smack from yours truly. Grr.
Anyway I'd like to ask you guys to just send all of your good thoughts and prayers and vibes to Lindsay and Luna. Take a moment and just viiiibe viiiibe viiiiiiiibe us in Houston, okay? Thanks. :)
UPDATE, Monday morning: Still no Luna. My dad wants to make a sandwich board sign to put on Lucy when he walks her. Is he the cutest dad ever? I think so. Lindsay and I are going to make some color signs and laminate them so that when it rains they won't get ruined. Oh yeah, it's pouring down rain here in Houston, did I forget to mention that? :( Keep vibin' us, people. VIIIIIIBE
I'm so sorry to hear this. Sending extra good kitty vibes your way.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! OMG! If I lived closer I would sleep on your sister's porch...you know, just in case Luna wandered by (I've done it before, trust me).
Who on f*cking earth is needing the smack down? WHY would this type of sitution make someone's ugly side shine through, especially family!?!?!? It's just not right. Please don't tell me someone uttered the disgusting statement of "It's just a.....cat (dog, whatever)"
Anyway, I am sending your sister and Luna every good vibe my tired ass body has to send....and then some.

Hoping and praying for little Luna. You know how I feel about her! Maybe Boo will smile down on her and help her find her way home.
My heart is aching.

If things turn out okay remind me to tell you about the time Poppy (my furry family member) jumped out of our kitchen window. In the meantime she and I will sit here and send furry vibes for Luna's decision to come home. :) Hopefully she's just having an adventure and will be home for snuggles soon.

I'm just now reading this...Oh, I hope she's OK. Don't give up hope; cats are resilient and resourceful and they can find their way home. She probably didn't go far; she's probably just hiding. Hiding is BIG in the feline world. ;-) After everything dries off she'll turn up. She just doesn't want to get even her feet wet. ;-)
I am vibing like crazy the she's home and dry soon.

Hooray! I've been praying to Saint Francis, the patron saint of animals and Saint Anthony, the patron saint of lost things. BOOYAH! Me and St. Anthony are really tight and he usually pulls through everytime!
Now that she's back, I will tell her what we told my dad's cat when he got out, "What is WRONG with you? You have a perfectly lovely home you rule, a family that adores you, all the food you can eat and you go looking for an apartment?? What are we going to do with you?"
In all seriousness, I am so thrilled she's back. She's been on my mind since Tracy told me. love to all manfords especially the furry ones.
