Is Flickr your dating service?

I wouldn't say that this is a chick blog. There are a bunch of women that read it, sure, but it's not just a big estro-fest. I mean, I've definitely got my share of male readers. Granted, most of them are married, but what the hey. They're not here to pick me up. They're here to geek out about Star Wars or BSG. YEAH!!

It's the same with my Flickr account. I'll tell you, I'm always careful about who I call a contact on Flickr. If some dude names me as a contact and I go to his profile and see a bunch of skanky pictures in his contact list, I block him right off. I'm talking about those guys that only have naked pictures of women in their "Favorites" section. I'm not interested in being a part of somebody's Flickr harem, you know? That just skeevs me out. I've got to wonder what the end game is for these guys. I'm not a skanky Flickr slut! Sure, I've taken a couple of suggestive photos, but I'm not ready to go all Bettie Page on the world. Hmmmm....well, maybe with the right set of boots, I might. *thoughtful*

Nah, I'd better leave that for another time. ;-D

Does it really matter a contact has naked pictures in their favorites section? Such a naive and silly thing to judge someone by.
