A little over a week ago I deleted my Twitter account for the simple reason that I needed space. I had no idea that it would cause a ruckus, but it did. My little gmail account received quite a few emails from people scolding me for leaving. Kymberlie gave me such a hard time about it that on Saturday night I gave in to her and restored my account. Twitter has a great system that keeps your deleted account for up to six months, so if you want to come back you don't have to rebuild your contacts and all that.
I came back to a bit of a sad surprise, but other than that I feel pretty good about re-upping. I realized that having the account doesn't mean I have to constantly update it. I can still enjoy my friends. So there you go.
Oh - I feel horrible - I noticed you had definitely not been on Twitter for about a week but had not known it was becauee you had deleted it. I thought you were simply taking a break - I knew you sometimes need that and I thought it coincided with your 365 break over at Flickr.
I am glad you are back on though - like you said, you don't have to Tweet constantly. I sometimes tweet every hour, other days just once or twice (none yesterday). Just depends on my mood...

Welcome back to Twitter! Yeah, there are no rules, so you only update when you feel like it. It is good to see you back tho!

yeah... glad your back too ... miss those pearls of truthiness .... and words of wisdom... "you don't fuck crazy" .. that is t-shirt and fortune cookie worthy and sums so much up in a nutshell.

Hey! I thought it seemed quieter on there, but I couldn't figure out why. I'm kinda dumb that way, tho. Funnily enough, FridayBoy deleted his twitter account in a fit of pique several weeks ago (yes, I was at fault). I didn't even realize it until he finally fessed up a week later. So then he was mad at me because I didn't notice he deleted his account (because he was mad at me). Men ..... what's the deal?? Anyway, glad you're back to tweeting.

Thank you for deleting it while I was in Vegas and too freaking busy to notice anything (I had to use an alternate Twitter account just to track WPPI stuff!) and thank you for coming back after I came home and would have actually noticed you were gone. Wait, is it wrong of me to think you did it all just because I wasn't around? ;-)
I'm just kidding. You know that, right? Anyways ... no rules. Tweet when you want, don't when you don't. Twitter only asks "what are you doing" anyways - not that you pour out every last thought.
Mike is sad about the removal of hugsnorgles from your language though, and hopes it doesn't mean that his birthday will be without hugsnorgles from you. You did get the Evite, didn't you? Hope you can make it - the party wouldn't be the same without you! (Plus there will be super surprise guests that you will just LOVE to meet!)
